There, I learnt to work with fabric and textiles, understood good apparel and fell in love with the vibrant handmade craft traditions in India.
Married life took me to Singapore, allowing me to explore, learn and master the South East Asian craft of Batik. Ever since, I have used Batik as a medium of artistic expression, conceptualizing bespoke scarves and designs through colourful, contemporary designs inspired by life in South East Asia.
