Last week we announced that I will be leaving the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center (LVPAC) next March. I have been privileged to be here during some very exciting times over the past five years including producing our first stage on stage production of John Logan’s RED and some great performances by Branford Marsalis, Pink Martini and my personal favorite Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo to name just a few.

I will miss the excitement that fills the lobby in the moments before a performance begins and seeing familiar (and unfamiliar) faces coming through the doors at the Bankhead. However it is time for me to step away to recharge and rethink. David and I are not sure when we will be packed up and ready to leave, but not too long after March 15th.

I will be here until then which will allow us to make sure things are in place for the next season. I know I will be leaving the organization in good hands including our new Production Manager, Gary Brunclik who joined us in early October. He is already fitting in with the amazing staff at LVPAC.

It has been an honor for me to work with our Board, staff, volunteers and patrons to make the Bankhead and Bothwell the vibrant center of the culture life of Livermore. I look forward to seeing folks at the Bankhead and Bothwell over the next few months and celebrating all the wonderful work that we have accomplished together.
