UPDATES AS OF APRIL 26, 2021

While we wait for guidelines from the State of California and Alameda County regarding how venues such as the Bankhead Theater can reopen safely, live indoor performances cannot be presented. Artists and performing arts groups continue to cancel and push out their planned tours. It is especially difficult for those coming from other countries to finalize a schedule given travel restrictions. We are eager to once again share the wonder of the arts with all of you, but the safety of our artists, patrons, staff and volunteers remains our top priority.

We continue to work with agent and artists to reschedule shows. Many will now be part of a 2021-2022 season featuring returning favorites and exciting new shows we hope to announce soon. Below is a revised list of affected shows. Please note that some shows moved multiple times — this list is in order of most recent scheduled date and includes only events with tickets that are still outstanding. Some shows that were completely cancelled may no longer be listed. *** indicates a new change.

IF YOU HAD TICKETS…

If you hold tickets for an event that has been rescheduled, your selected seats will automatically be transferred to the new date. An email is sent to each ticket holder with a form to indicate they want to 1) accept the new tickets, 2) exchange the tickets for a different show, 3) donate the tickets back to Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, or 4) receive a gift card, credit or refund. Donated resident company tickets will support funding for their future performances.  Note: If your email has changed since you purchased the tickets, an auto-email may miss you — please let us know your new address. Call the box office at 925-373-6800 or email [email protected] with questions. We will respond as quickly as possible — we appreciate your patience as we’re working with a reduced staff!

CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

We are dedicated to keeping the arts alive in our community. The pandemic has hurt the Arts in so many ways, from individual artists and arts groups, to backstage crew, industry workers, and performing arts centers.  Coming back will be challenging for the entire arts world, including us. If you cannot attend, please consider donating your tickets. A donation of any size makes a difference. Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center is community-centered and community-funded. Your support helps us share the joy of the arts with everyone.  DONATE NOW
