Closing Out Summer This August at The Bankhead
Livermore, CA – (July 13, 2026) – Watch closely as you experience things that just can’t be done… or can they? Livermore Valley Arts is excited to present an evening of absolute amazement for Tri-Valley families to enjoy together later this summer. Starring the world’s greatest award-winning magicians, this 21st-century magic show is unlike anything seen before – filled with modern illusions and arts of deception, performed live on stage. Masters of Illusion will mystify audiences on Saturday, August 22, bringing The Bankhead alive with wonder and bewilderment this summer. This exciting event will be at the beautiful Bankhead Theater in Downtown Livermore.
Masters of Illusion has performed live in front of tens of thousands of people across the US for the past 14 years and has been seen by over 250 million viewers on the CW Network (Season 11), as well as in 126 countries around the world. Featuring the greatest illusions of our time, Masters of Illusion will bring cutting-edge illusionists performing two hours of stage illusions, dangerous stunts, mind-reading, sleight of hand, singing, and comedy magic. Audiences will be held at the edge of their seats by the jaw-dropping grand illusions, and will laugh out loud at the hysterical comedy magic as performers from around the world combine fantasy, fervor, and flair with magic created in front of their very eyes. Dani Elizabeth, Las Vegas’ Legendary Rising Star of Magic, is the embodiment of Las Vegas glamour, talent, charisma, and magic. Dani first captured audiences as a star performer in the legendary Jubilee! —one of the most iconic productions in Vegas history. Her versatility as a performer has led her to television, where she made a memorable guest appearance on the hit series Pawn Stars, showcasing her multifaceted talents beyond the stage. Now, Dani is
captivating audiences once again—this time as one of magic’s most exciting new stars, merging beauty, mystery, and showmanship into a breathtaking new era of illusion. She recently starred in the Hollywood Christmas Parade, showcasing her magic, and will be on CW’s Masters of Illusion 12th season this year with some of her newest illusions.
Joseph Gabriel knows a thing or two about entertaining, after 25 years of starring in Las Vegas. Having been discovered by Johnny Carson at a very early age, he quickly became a favorite of Johnny’s and made a total of 7 appearances on the “Tonight Show.” Soon after, he was invited to the White House for a Command Performance for President Reagan. Just a few years later, Joseph was able to fulfill one of his biggest dreams by creating and starring in his own full evening show called Magic on Broadway, which ran in New York City’s Lamb’s Theatre and within three months broke all box office records! His success is due to his creativity, originality, and personality. Most of the magic you see Joseph perform was created by him, “The Classiest Magician” (Johnny Carson).
Murray SawChuck, renowned magician and comedian, has made waves in the world of entertainment with his unique blend of comedy and magic, earning him the title of Magic’s #1 Social Media Influencer and Headliner on the Las Vegas Strip, Viral Sensation, and Hall of Fame of Magic inductee. With a staggering 3 million subscribers and over 6.5 billion online views, Murray has captivated audiences worldwide with his mesmerizing performances. Murray just finished a residency at The Strat Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and has solidified his reputation as a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip for the past 23+ years. He has mesmerized audiences at renowned venues such as The Magic Castle, The Sydney Opera House, Radio City Music Hall, and live on tour with Masters of Illusion, showcasing his unique blend of strange magic, intricate illusions, and macabre humor. Sperry’s trademark strange magic shines through in his television appearances for the past several seasons on Masters of Illusion, where his performances are not only visually stunning but also laced with a darkly comedic edge.
