Witness an Ethereal, Luminous New Art Exhibit at Livermore Valley Arts This Spring
Livermore, CA – (March 30, 2026) – A serenely beautiful new exhibit, “Presenting Splendid Surroundings in Watercolor,” is on display this spring at the UNCLE Credit Union Art Gallery at the Bankhead Theater now through May 10, 2026. A prominent watermedia organization, the California Watercolor Association’s mission is to create, foster, and sustain artistic growth and interest in watermedia, accomplished through CWA community outreach programs, workshops, public exhibitions, and student activities. Featured in this exhibition, CWA artists have many beautiful and meaningful places and people to inspire their art, sharing paintings of splendid places they have visited, people they have seen, abstracts or still lifes inspired by a person or place, and more. Free and open to the public, art for this show includes still lives, landscapes, nature, portraits, figures, and abstracts. Experience this warm and inviting exhibit in person at the UNCLE Credit Union Art Gallery at the Bankhead Theater in Downtown Livermore, Thursdays through Saturdays, 12 pm—5 pm.* The Opening Reception for “Presenting Splendid Surroundings in Watercolor” at the UNCLE Credit Union Art Gallery is on Saturday, April 11, from 1 pm—3 pm, featuring live ukulele music from members of the Serenading Strummers.
California Watercolor Association members include professional and non-professional artists, teachers, and students with a compelling interest in painting. As a non-profit organization, the tradition to meet, share, and learn from other artists continues, as CWA brings opportunities and support to its members.
With landscapes, nature, still lives, portraits, figures, abstracts, and more, this pleasing art exhibition truly has something for every taste on display this April and May.
“Presenting Splendid Surroundings in Watercolor” is a moving new exhibit at Livermore Valley Arts, and viewers do not want to miss it this spring. The UNCLE Credit Union Art Gallery is in the lobby of the beautiful Bankhead Theater at 2400 First Street, Livermore. “Presenting Splendid Surroundings in Watercolor” is free and open to enjoy by ticketed patrons during performances and by the general public, Thursdays through Saturdays, 12 pm—5 pm, now through May 10, 2026*, at the UNCLE Credit Union Art Gallery.
