LATEST UPDATES AND CHANGES
UPDATES AS OF JANUARY 18, 2021
Alameda County continues with COVID-19 restrictions for the performing arts, so the Bankhead Theater remains closed. Comprehensive plans for safe reopening are being put into place and we await further instructions from the County regarding their schedule. We are eager to once again share the wonder of the arts with all of you, but the safety of our artists, patrons, staff and volunteers remains our top priority.
We are still working with artists and arts groups who were scheduled to perform in 2020 and the early part of 2021. Many of those events have been rescheduled, as we develop a full 2021-2022 season with some returning favorites and exciting new shows.
Below is the current list of affected shows due to COVID-19. New changes are indicated with *** Please note that some shows previously rescheduled have now been moved again or cancelled.
IF YOU HAD TICKETS…
If you hold tickets for an event that has been rescheduled, your selected seats will automatically be transferred. An email is sent to each ticket holder to confirm their preference. If you choose not to attend, you can 1) exchange the tickets for a different show, 2) donate the tickets back to Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, or 3) receive a gift card, credit or refund. Donated resident company tickets will support funding for their future performances. Call the box office at 925-373-6800 or email boxoffice@lvpac.org with questions. We will respond as quickly as possible — we appreciate your patience as we’re working with a reduced staff!
CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
We are dedicated to keeping the arts alive in our community. The pandemic has hurt the Arts in so many ways, from individual artists and arts groups, to backstage crew, industry workers, and performing arts centers. Coming back from this crisis will be a challenge for the entire arts world, including us. If you cannot attend, please consider donating your tickets. A donation of any size makes a difference. Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center is community-centered and community-funded. Your support helps us share the joy of the arts with everyone. DONATE NOW
